QD Luminescent material is inorganic semiconductor micro crystal particles with fluorescence characteristics and based on 1-20 nanometer scale.This kind of quantum dot can control electronic in a small three-dimensional space.When the excitation light illuminates,electrons will be excited to jump to a higher energy level.When the electron returns to the original lower energy level,it will emit a beam of certain wavelength and color.It will produce fluorescence properties.Different materials and particle size can produce red / Blue / green and other colors fluorescence.

The Fluorescent Carbon Namometer Material’s Application in Anti-Counterfeiting Field
The inorganic non-mental Fluorescent Namometer Material is new generation of Fluorescent material developed in recent years, It features as advantages of Non-toxic, Good biological compatibility, Good Chemical stability, Sunshine & light resistances (better than organic dye), Temperature- resistance,Acid and alkali resistances , Low cost etc. The unique lighting effect make it obvious in anti counterfeit technology with unique, stability, and concealness.
Solid State: Black Brown Particle. Particle size: 10 namometer.
Dissolved matter: water, Dimethylthiocarbamoyl chloride.
Toxicity: NO. Composition:90% inorganic matter. PH data: Neutral.
Water Dissolved Saturation Value: about 30mg/ml.

(1) The Fluorescent Ink:
The fluoresent namometer phosphor itself is convenient to be stored and carried, easy to be dissolved in water solution. The fluorescent Ink can be written and printed on paper, emitting different light color according to different excitation wavelength. Such as , under Blue light excitation (450-470nm,the patten appears Green fluorescent light ( 40% of fluorescent quantum efficiency). Under green light excitation (500-520nm), The patten appears red fluorescent light through optical filter . Pls. Refer to Photo 1.
(2)Information Encryption Pattern:
The previous fluorescent phosphor has specific emission peak. That is when the excitation wavelength was changed, the position of emission peak doesn’t change, only the brightness alter.
Photo 2 is the fluorescent effect of encryption number written by fluorescent namometer ink and commercial green color fluorescent pen on paper. To write “395” with fluorescent namometer ink on paper, then fill the non written parts of “395” by fluorescent ink to number “888”with commercial green fluoresent pen ; Photo a, Excitation wavelengh 450-480nm, receiving wavelength is over 515nm , Exposure time is 50millisecond. Photo b, Excitation wavelengh 510-550 nm, receiving wavelength is more than 590nm , Exposure time is 150 millisecond. You can see Photo a shows green number 888, photo b shows red number 395, approving that the namometer fluorescent ink can be detected by different excitation wavelength, effective for number encryption.
(3) Biological and chemical products’ Identification :
The Fluorescent Namometer Material can be absorbed effectively on the surface of Biological Products (Plants fiber, animal skin and fur, human skin etc. ), and appear strong fluorescent emission features.
On the contrary, the fluorescent emission effectiveness of the fluorescent namometer material will decrease largely when it deposit on the surface of chemical products (Nylon, Rubber, Plastic etc. ), so it can be used for identifying the biological or chemical products. Photo 3 refer to common thread and nylon fiber with contaminated and non contaminated fluorescent ink , cotton thread and nylon fiber with no contaminated the fluorescent namometer ink. (a) Optical photo ,(b) emission wavelength 450-480 nm,receiving wavelength over 515nm, exposure time 50 millisecond ; (c)Fluorescent photo with emission wavelength 510-550 nm,receiving wavelength over 590nm, exposure time 150 millisecond ; (d) The optical photo for dry cotton thread and nylon fiber with contaminated this fluorescent ink.
(e) Emission wavelength 450-480 nm,receiving wavelength over 515nm, exposure time 50 millisecond , The nylon fiber present green color . (f) Emission wavelength 510-550 nm,receiving wavelength over 590nm, exposure time 150 millisecond , The nylon fiber present red color . From the photo 3, we come to the conclusion that the cotton thread contaminated by the fluorescent ink show strong emission wavelength relying fluorescent effect,while the same nylon fiber does not. Which approve that the Carbon quantum dots fluorescent ink can identify effectively biological products and chemical products .
(4) Emission wavelength relied fingerprint Stamp:
The fluorescent namometer ink is not harmful to animals basically, leaving fluorescent effect fingerprint stamp. Photo 4 refer to different light effect by different emission wavelength with this ink .
(a) Optical photo ,(b) Emission wavelength 340 nm,receiving wavelength over 395nm, we can see that (b) photo appear blue color finger stamp, (c) Emission wavelength 420 nm,receiving wavelength over 450 nm, we can see (c) photo present green fingerprint stamp which can be kept for long .
(5) Plants Mark:
The Fluorescent Namometer material is non-toxic to plants, don’t affect their growth. The material being absorbed to plants show fluorescent light feature as per different emission wavelength, using for marking plants alive or plants products say wood; It approves that the fluorescent ink is not harmful to plants and be able to dye the plants alive .
